Android Auto Options?
I'm tired of not having spotify and pocketcasts integrated into the screen. I went to a stereo shop and was told they can't install an aftermarket head unit (Pioneer or Kenwood). Is that true? If so, any other suggestions on how I can make my life easier?
Right now I have an iPod Touch connected through the glove box. I've got it connected to my phone's WiFi hotspot so have to open the glove box, open up the app i want to use and then control everything through the iPod. So annoying. Thanks for any advice! |
No Bluetooth option for your model year? I stream Pandora and YouTube (audio only, not video) from my phone via Bluetooth, including functioning FFWD / RWD / Pause/Play controls.

Unfortunately the only bluetooth functionality is hands-free voice. Annoying.

You can use one of these to get bluetooth audio streaming for your car. I added one. It plugs rignt into where you have your iPod plugged into. It works great. There are a few options on how to set it up. That will depend on if it interrupts the audio when a phone call comes in. Mine works as if it was a factory install. And I've found them for under $75.00 on line.

Glenn, thank you so so so much. That's perfect. And like $500 cheaper than the new head unit/custom install route.

Has anyone tried the Naviplus Android Auto solution?
