Another blown Audi 2.0 tfsi motor! 2012 2.0 tfsi is best version I hear???

Motor blew up 500 miles after Audi replaced pistons under warranty. Guess what? Dealership that done the work takes no responsibility. I am now looking for a used replacement motor. Anyone have any ideas? Doing some research and from what I've learned is that the 2012 version of the 2.0 tfsi was updated and free of the oil consumption issues. Anyone have a reputable source to buy a known working used 2.0 tfsi??? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

What is your real story?
You had a post about "no start after motor swap" a couple of weeks ago.
Now you have a blown motor that was worked on by an Audi dealer.

I don't know about 2012, but I have 2013 that doesn't need to top off between oil change.

Dealer should take responsibility and you should throw the book at them. Lawyer up - it'd be cheaper than to install a new engine.

Why would a dealer not cover their work after only 500 miles? Something doesn't sound right here.

I don't understand his motivation for posting weird failures in our forum.
He posted a couple in C6 forum too.
I responded them, and he never followed up.

I'm with Audi_bug on this...what's actually going on, since it appears you dropped another engine in the car a little while ago and now your saying that Audi did the work...so it's all a bit confusing.
