I've been using this board to do some research as I look for my next car. Today I went to test drive an A4 and a BMW 328xi.

I test drove the BMW first. The handling was great but it felt slower than I expected it too. The interior was ok but didn't blow me away. This may sound odd but the gauges and the gauge surround felt small and somewhat awkward. Overall the car was fun but just left me wanting a little bit more.

I went over to the audi dealer just down the street. I test drove and a4 premium plus with sport package. From the start i've liked the exterior of the audi better. As soon as I got in the car though it felt amazing, for me it blew away the interior of the bmw. The sales person really had me push the car in the corners and it felt a lot better than i expected. It also felt a lot faster than i expected. To me it felt more fun than the bmw. I don't know what the numbers what have said but for seat of the pants the audi felt more fun.

So now the quandry, I had hoped to compare the S4 as well but there's none in stock anywhere near me. I'm hoping they start getting some 2011' so I can compare. I can afford both cars but I don't want to spend the extra on the S4 unless I know that I really love the extra power.

In short today shorted my list to Audi...now I just need to decide which one.

Yes. I want an S4 also. But I live in metro NY City. Where will I used the power? I also takes 4 years to get the insurance premiumincrease from speeding tickets off your rate.

The mileage on the 2.0 is much better also.
