Anyone else running Blizzak WS-70's?
I just put a set on today. Last spring my dealer replaced the stock P7's with ContiProContacts which have been great in the warmer weather but definitely slip a lot in the colder, snowier roads here in NE.
Have been using WS-60's on our minivan with great success on the hillside we live on, so put the newer WS-70's on the Avant.
I expect it will be night and day. Anyone else running Blizzak's?

I just got a set (although not on my Audi). We've had some serious weather here in the last week, with snow, rain, and some freeze/thaw cycles making for freezing slush. The WS-70's have a remarkable amount of traction, much more than the Yokohama W-Drive tires they replaced. I'm most impressed by their grip on wet ice.

I'm running the Blizzak WS60 on my avant. They have been great so far, haven't had to push them all that much.
I had Dunlop Winter Sport 3Ds on my B7 and were amazing. Only reason I switched was Tire Rack was out of the Winter Sports.

A few weeks ago I had the Ws60's mounted and they are great.
I had the Winter Sports on my B7 also and they also performed well.
I also bought my gf the Blizzak Dm-V1's and they are night and day when compared to the stock A/S.

Yes, I just installed them late last week. Easterners got all the good weather, we just got dry weather, and now warmer is on the way - and no chance to try them out. WS-70 in 245 series. I wanted the 225, but Tire Rack were out of stock. So I went with the wider selection by default
Will post up when we get some proper Quattro driving weather.

my local tire shop was able to get me the 225/50's - always better to go slightly narrower on the winter shoes - less float is better in the snow/slush, etc.

Aren't you throwing off your rolling diameter considerably by going with that size? You might be causing damage to your drive train.
