The only time I see snow is if we drive 4 hours to go skiing - so these seem easier to keep and store long term than chains.

I've never seen anyone on the Audi boards use these. Mostly cause our cars are capable w/out this crap as long as you get an awesome set of Winter tires.

Thank you so much for this post. I am in this same boat. If you had to pick one Zchain or Autosock which would it be? I have a 2019 Q7 with 285/35-22 wheels and trying to figure out which snow chains or equivalent to go with. A bit scared to use the Z chain in case of rubbing on the rim and damaging the finish. Hence the Autosock seems like a better play. Any thoughts and or pictures would be greatly appreciated.
