Anything I'm missing on this used 2014 A4?
I'm new to audi but have wanted one for a long time! I'm looking at what looks to be an immaculate a4 2014 premium plus quattro with sport package, nav and some other options. Mileage is about 46K - I'll have three months until the warranty expires. My only hesitancy is the history. Shown to be a personal lease vehicle and then a dealer bought it at auction 14 months ago. That dealer couldn't sell it for whatever reason and the dealer I'm buying from bought it at auction in February of this year. Car Gurus has orig list price at $25K from them and they are offering to me for $19,500 saying they are losing money. They are a reputable Volvo dealer in the area.
My concern is the car sitting for a year mostly unused. How bad is this for the car? Also, are there red flags I'm not seeing that others did that caused this vehicle to go unpurchased for 14 months now?
I really love the car and the price seems right. I just don't want any headaches with it!

Have you driven it? Make sure it shifts smoothly and doesn't have any weird noises or clunks when you turn. Give it a little hell before you buy it and make sure. It could have oil consumption issues, it would be rare in that year, but an off chance. Salvage or rebuild title?

Oil burner? Can you see any service records/warranty claims?

Go for it even with headaches an Audi is so much better than anything else I have ever owned. Your gonna have things on vehicles youir gonna have to replace or repair at some point regardless of age on top of consumables. Make a milage plan for maintencance such as doing Transmission fluid at 65-75K and oil changed every 10K and work out if its affordable. I've have my 2010 Avant for a year now and would never look back I've loved every mile I've driven and the ZF8 is an amazing transmission. As long as it is silent while test driving as stated above go for it! Just be prepaed above 100K for expenses like transmission work. Engine work. and suspension work those are things Audi has designed to last up to about 120K which is there idea of "lifetime."
