Default Audi A4 - 2011 2.0 T Premium Quattro

Hey guys! So I'm looking at buying this car:

Yorktown, VA 2011 Audi A4 2.0T Premium Quattro Used Sedan Williamsburg, VA Hampton, VA Auto Haus | 5989 | WAUHFAFL0BN032507

It does have a manual transmission, and I appreciate that. However, my friends and family are trying to talk me out of buying it because it has a manual transmission. If anyone can give me advice on what I would have to do after buying the car regarding the maintenance that would be great!

Also, is this a good car? I think so! But you guys seem to be more in knowledge about Audis! So if you could help out that'd be great!

Thank You,

Pree (:

price is good, but the car has had some issues according to the carfax report. on an audi when the same problems keep occuring, it should be a warning signal. this car may end up costing you a lot of money after you buy it. take the vin number to an audi dealer and have them check the history. also get the car looked at - you will have to pay a fee to have it looked over, but it may end up saving you a lot ultimately.

According to the carfax, this car had its fuel injectors replaced twice within 10K miles (once at 48K, and once at 58K). This is a big concern. It looks like this is the reason the previous owner got rid of the car. He sold it basically right after the fuel injectors were changed for the 2nd time. I personally would pay a few thousand dollars extra for something with lower mileage and a cleaner history.

But, if you really want this car.. the fair price for a 2011 A4 with 61K miles on it, being sold from a dealer, is $19,110 according to kbb.com...

Kelley Blue Book

So they should come down a few hundred dollars to that price right off the bat (without even discussing the carfax). You should print that page and bust it out when negotiating price with them. Then bring up your concerns about the fuel injectors from the carfax. That should allow you to drive the price down even more. If this dealer offers an extended warrenty (one that is accepted buy audi dealerships) you should probably look into buying it.. but be sure to negotiate the price of that too. Say they should throw in the warranty for you for cheap based on the car's history.
