Hey all, recently purchased a 2009 a4 2.0t FW. My knowledge on cars is close to none lol.. (im 17 btw). Is there any mods worth doing to make the car louder or sound better/ increase performance? I have no idea where to begin as far as intake, exhaust, deletes and all that. Any insight you can offer me is much appreciated

Really depends on the budget, you can do anything up to putting in a bigger turbo, tuning (APR, etc.), exhaust system, intercooler upgrade, intake, etc...

Intake will make your car whistle, not in the turbo whining way, in a whistling way. It has annoyed enough people that you can probably find a used one pretty easy. I sold mine off, couldn't handle the annoying whistle for the minimal (if any) hp gain.

Tuning will get you the biggest boost, if you go APR stage 2 or more you will need the high flow cat.

Search around, look at people's signatures, and read the modding threads (or other threads just like this one).
