well I’ve got one issue.

I have bought a new Audi A4 B8 Avant 2009 with B&O (no NAV sys) sound system. And each time I drive, I hear static/blasting noise which pops out, after this noise the high frequencies (treble) disappers. The sound is like a sitting in barell - awful. Sounds like problems with amplifier. The normal sound comes back when I leave the car still for ~20-30 min.

No matter what vol/bass/treble settings or CD/Radio/SDcard, you will pop up this noise. This noise pop up even after mutting the sound once...
Sometimes it creak sound appears when I turn up the volume.



What could be the problem? What are the solutions? Maybe someone got something simmilar...

P.S. I hate that auto sound muffling... when I turn up the Volume

Solution is simple - return to dealer and get it fixed under warranty

Let's hope it's not the amp, because there are none in the US and there's no ETA on them. How do I know.....my dealer had to order a new amp for my B8.

might be a little off topic. but does anyone notice the difference in audio quality from ipod/cd and sirius. i notice a hissing with the satellite radio

Well I tried but it they said that they have to catch that moment when the problem pops up... however it dosen't came up

And the waranty (2years) now it's over.

If honestly I am little bit disatisfide with B&O system.

Is there some way to reboot my Audi Symphony.


P.S. How do I turn GALA off, I guess there is level setting 1-7 and AUTO?

Sorry. Me bad. I assummed you was in the US and I wasn't aware it was an intermitent problem. They're always the worst

I guess a VCDS scan would be the first thing to see if it's saying it's seeing an error anywhere.

Gala : Go to Radio, Settings and in the DSP page you'll see Gala.

My MY2010 is Gala Plus and that's either on or off.

Hidden menus are available but must be enabled by dealer or VCDS first of all.

Well I took it to dealer but there was no malufunctions in VCDS. They said that they have to hear that weird sound, but then I have to cruise with them 1/2 day in hope it pops up...
