Default B8: how to fix plenum over flowing with water?

every time it rains heavily, my car battery tends to drain. We have gotten it down to a module underneath the windshield housing/ the one above the drivers' footwell. I forget the name from the top of my head, but the module started with a "J". we found water damage in it and replaced it. we checked the drains right underneath the windshield housing and both drains seemed to check out. But now it happened again. what can I do to fix it?

What happened again? Confirmation of water leakage to an electrical component, or drainage of the battery by some event? If the component that was wet before is wet again, break out the hose and find the leak location that's allowing water to go where it should not.
If it rains hard on a long drive, I'll feel a drop on my left foot resting on the dead pedal occasionally. Haven't bothered to try and figure out where it's coming from. Probably somewhere above, but possibly from the top of the door maybe. Your problem might be that the route the water is taking might not be the same once you start removing pieces to try and see what's going on.

Is this not the A4 B8 discussion? Underneath the "Audi World" logo it says "AudiWorld Forums > Audi Models > Audi A4 > A4 (B8 Platform) Discussion
> B8: how to fix plenum over flowing with water?"

Both. Yes, the module contained some white water marks on the circuit board and a slightly wet cover and the battery drainage by some event. Yea, I guess it could be possible that the drain pipe itself is impaired. I'll check it out and get back to you.
