Default brake wear loom

Hi, my audi a4 2009 seems to only have 1 brake wear loom on passenger side, nothing on the front drivers side? gettng yellow ( ) straight away on start up.

Any ideas?

basically had brake change as light was coming on every so often, but since then it comes on straight away so thought wear indicator plug may be at fault, passenger side is twisted together and still does it so went to drivers side and there is no cable there to join together from loom, only a cable going to abs sensor.

For a US 2009 A4, the only pad that has a brake wear sensor is in the inside pad on the front left wheel. So it is on the driver's side, in this country. :-) But yes, there is only one pad with a sensor in the A4. ECS sells a cheater plug for $11 (here); might be worth using to see if the indicator persists. Should let you separate the issue to the sensor in the pad vs. the wiring in the car.

Lol 😂 11 bucks for a plug, that's the same thing as connecting the wires together, with any kind of method. Who the heck buys this???

Some people like turnkey solutions. I'd be more apt to buy the $6 Febi sensor and just tie the end of the cable somewhere.
