Default Buy new 2014 A4 or wait for the next model?

I have a 2009 and they have offered me a great buyback for my car. I am temped to get the new 2014 Progressiv but I understand the new A4 is coming out soon. Not sure when exactly, I have heard sometime in late 2014 or early 2015. Should I wait for it or buy now? I did buy a 2009 the year it came out and I do regret a little bit buying the first model because there were significant changes made after such as the transmission and LED tailights.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Since Audi refreshed the B8 for MY2013, the MY2015 B9 arrival in the U.S. would likely be for July-Sep, 2014 delivery. That said, Audi ran the B7 for seven years before introducing the B8. If that trend were to continue, the B8 would not change until MY2016 with a 2015 release. Keep in mind, the U.S. receives next generation models a year later than Europe.

As of the past week's intel the B9 probably won't debut until this time next year, meaning it won't be in the US until ~July-August 2015, if history serves as a guide.

No. B7 ran 2004-2008, B6 ran 2000-2006. See Wikipedia.

I never like buying the first model year any more either. I think I'll just get the 2014... you can't go wrong... Although I do hate what they have done with the new packages and you can hardly get any options on the base model any more.

I think they simply made some things standard on the base trim, which is why you can't get too many options. But that is compared to last year. When they first introduced the B8 in the US, it had more standard features and you could get the Sport Pack (and I think B&O). Once the car proved to be a success, they quickly dialed back the goodies. For 2014, they also increased the price of the Sport Pack by adding the useless ADS. When I look at a P+ with Sport, I feel like I am paying for a bunch of things that I don't care for.

Well I bought a 2014 Progressiv. Not too many choices now with Audi. I wanted the base one with a few options but you can't get it that way any more so I had to get Nav which was the one thing I didn't care about and they are also throwing in the parking sensors that I didn't care about but they are free. Does anyone know if the base 2014 Progressiv comes with Audi Connect? or is that another option?

Thx
