Default Camshaft adjuster magnet removal how to

Hello car was in a front end collision and the camshaft adjuster magnet was damaged I tried to remove it as it seemed fairly easy just three bolts but it does not want to come off is there a special way to remove it the one on my car is the metel one and the black plastic one is the one I got to replace it with 2012 a4 2.0t quattro

One of the simplest removal instructions in the repair manual. Disconnect plug, remove three bolts, pull out. Not done it myself, though.
Removing the upper timing chain cover is "remove the N205, remove the 5 bolts, pull off". So you could try removing the bolts for the upper timing chain cover and pulling it to see if it'll help leverage the N205 out of it's placement into the cam bridge / cam shaft.

That's what It looked like to me but seems to be stuck thinking i will clamp a grip pliers on it and see if i can pry it off if not i will remove the whole cover maybe the last owner glued it on or something
