Chirp gone, central locking always cycles
A few weeks ago the alarm stopped chirping on lock. One door wasn’t locking so I replaced the actuator and the door now locks, but the chirp is still not back. All doors lock but the gas cap door does not lock. When I stop and drive above 10mph, I can hear the central locking switch trigger locking all doors, but it will continually do this if I stop and take off again. It doesn’t think it’s locked, which also points to the chirp not chirping. I replaced the fuel door switch to no avail. Any thoughts?

Any luck with this? Mine will lock with the fob, and with the button on the door. I think one of my rear door buttons is broken now.
All kinds of stuff on these fail, door locks, buttons, speakers, the rear deck sub, door latch cables, shock bellows damper, its a constant string of parts.

The fuel door codes are just your solenoid going out. I recently replaced mine because it got to the point that occasionally I was having to lock/unlock several cycles to get the solenoid to release. But the solenoid is a dumb device and the status of it is not part of the locking system. It just toggles the power line when you lock or unlock the driver door. It is interesting though that yours does not say " - Intermittent" as my codes did. My fault status was 00101001, but who knows what those bits means.
Your first post said you already replaced the fuel door solenoid? 8K0862153H? Did you voltage test the plug to the solenoid to make sure 12v was present? (I'm not sure if 12v present is locked or unlocked; or maybe it only needs to pulse some 12v to toggle the state; not sure how it actually works inside). Something must be bad with the wiring to the solenoid if you replaced it and it's still giving errors.

I had to replace a rear door latch, I ordered and replaced the Audi part# 8K0839015A
it locks and unlocks with the fob now, but no chirp anymore, but I can live without it over a visit to the stealer and their $198 diag fee.

Sounds like a the door lock actuator to me. Happens when you get some moisture in the door and weather changes and make it short out. I think you can find it for around $200. DIY is straightforward but a PITA.
