does anyone sell piano black trim for b8's?
 

i thought i saw it on here a while ago but i cant find it. can anyone help me out? thanks!

Does the piano black pick up lots of dust? I have typically had aluminum trim (and once wood trim), but have not had the piano black. I was thinking of switching out the aluminum hologram trim and was wondering if the glossy would attract and show a lot of dust (I clean about every two weeks, sometimes once a week).

It takes a minute to get rid of the dust with microfiber. I'm not a fan of aluminum as it seems cheap.

Piano black looks nice, but I can't stand the scratches and the care it takes to keep them looking great.

Would it replace all the OEM silver trims? Do you have any sample photos? I can't stand the silver trims and want to replace all with either CF or piano black.

How easy are these to self-install and what is the pricing?

I'm looking to pick up a 2010 blk/blk prestige, but the specific 2.0T does not have wood inlays. I am curious to the question stated above regarding self instalation...

Door trims merely pry off and new trims snap into place, same with dash trim, the center console trim being the hardest to install. You will need to remove the center console and the trim is held on with 8 small bolts from the underside. I can provide detailed picture based instructions. This is work you can do yourself with a minimal tool kit and instructions.

Each trim package carries a unique price.

S4 B8 Carbon Fiber Trim Package - $1699.15 set (Retail - $2106.94)
S4 B8 Piano Black Trim Package - $1302.67 set (Retail - $1602.28)

Each package consists of the dash trim, console trim and four door trims.

Hardest part is the console which requires the console be pulled out, however it is not all that hard in the end.

Holy cow! Perhaps I should have allowed them to put in that awful Ash Almond inlay for $400. That is some serious sticker shock!

The prices are up there, however fairly standard for carbon or piano trims for any Audi. I see pricing up in the $2000 range from other sources on comparable trim sets.

Oh don't get me wrong... I wasn't trying to imply your prices were out of line. Just that the price induced sticker shock as it wasn't what I had anticipated when contemplating changing out the aluminum trim to a wood trim.

Oh I know you didn't mean any ill-will, just mentioning pricing in comparison. There are less costly trim options.
