Default does this look familiar to anyone?

Hi,
I have no idea how this happened, wondering if this has happened to anyone else.

Someone must have kneeled or stepped there.

The leatherette is known to crack. This especially true in cold weather where temperature differentials make the material brittle over time. I had to replace tiny cracks in the driver seat 4 times. The dealer replaced under warranty. Hope this helps!

That piece is plastic. Only explanation is a fair amount of force in a concentrated area.

no sorry, this probably is not covered under warranty as this is just a plastic piece. normal wear and tear...

As said before, it looks like someone put their knee down on that piece, cracking it.

Chances are it's not covered under warranty but it never hurts to ask!

But I agree either someone put their knee on it or stood on the corner of the seat.

What exactly do you mean by 'leatherette'? I thought the seats were leather?
