Double shift
The other night on my way home from work, I was exiting one highway and entering another. As I was coming to the end of the exit ramp from the first highway, I went to downshift and accidentally hit the left paddle (-) shifter two times in quick succession, as if one were double-clicking a mouse. I was surprised when transmission very quickly shifted from fifth into fourth into third. The two shifts appeared to occur in no more than a second's time.
I haven't tried to duplicate this because I don't want to put any undue wear on the transmission. But I thought that it was pretty cool that the transmission could do this.
