Hi everyone. So I'm having an issue unlocking the drivers side door (with key fob only) it clicks to lock (and works 100% of the time) but doesn't click to open.

It does work when opening from the inside and when using the hard key.

So I've concluded it's likely an electrical problem. I head these cables are liable to break so this is how far I've got. I've managed to take of both boots between the door and the car and can get the cable out about 10cm.

Now I don't want to actually break anything here so all I now want to know if how do I get to the cables to actually fix them. I've tried google and youtube but not success. I'm hoping I'll see a severed cable that I can just solder back together.
