Default Dynamic Steering Light + System Fault error after rear backup cam install

Hi all, my first post here. I just got pre-owned 2014 Audi A4 a few weeks ago.

I know little about cars, so I had a car stereo installation place install my rear backup camera from carsgadget. The camera itself and everything works fine. On the drive back I noticed my steering wheel was stiff and saw the steering wheel light + system fault error show up.

Questions:
1) Do you think this was caused by a poor install job/disconnected wires? (I remember the installer talking about how I had no more open fuse slots, so maybe he did something wrong in this area?)
2) The car is still under warranty, should I try to get it serviced or remove the rear backup camera first?
3) I googled around and some people were able to fix this steering problem with a "basic settings" programming for their dynamic steering. Knowing my details, is this something that sounds like it would fix my problem?
4) Is there anything I can check easily myself?

Thanks in advance!

You can get a ton of codes if you start the car without the CAN bus connecter installed, and then install it during the backup camera install. You normally just need to have all the error codes erased with VCDS, cheap scan tool, or maybe even at Autozone etc. Worse case you need to pay the dealer to erase the codes and that costs too much

How did you fix this? I installed a backup camera today, and I am having the exact same problem. Carista also gave me a list of 7 fault codes, and they wouldn't go away upon reset.

I took it into the dealership and they cleared out the fault codes. Apparently I caused them somehow when I linked the camera into the car's power.
