Hello,
Following my 3-spoke Sport Steering Wheel w Paddleshifts Retrofit https://www.audiworld.com/forums/sho....php?t=2793187, I am putting my previous 4-spoke Steering Wheel + Matching Airbag (removed when 14,000 miles on the clock)for sale. Both items are in Like New condition.

The Part Numbers are:

2.) 8R0 880 201 C - Airbag for 4 spoke steering wheel - Gray - Dealer Retail Price - $840.00
Pls, check with me or your dealer for proper fittment to you vehicle. Also, since I have no knowledge or your skill level/installation capabilities I do not offer warranty or acept returns.

I am asking 550.00 for the set + shipping/insurance cost. Shipping available only for Continetal US via Ground (due to safety regulations).

You might want to keep that wheel and swap it back to OEM when you sell the vehicle. Once the dealer wipes that coding out at service, you will have to re-enable via VAG. Once you sell the car, they will think they have shifters up until the go into service then when the revert back to OEM coding, the shifter will be dead. Then they will bring it back to the service demanding it to work, then service will scratch their head trying to figure why it doesnt work, endless cycle...

Great job on the conversion by the way.

FWIW, the A4 coding is close to the same on your Q5. The coding you saw for the A4 was for an older B7. The new B8 coding is 000034. I did a sim retrofit awhile back.

You are bringing a very good point about keeping the wheel for sale purposes. Instead, I intend to (upon sale) replace it w used 3-spoke wheel w MFC (no paddleshifts).
Thanks very much,
Peter
