With a Full tank of Gas, how many miles could you drive before empty?

With 93 octane; a 6-speed manual and driving on 2-lane and 4-lane (non interstate) roads, with speeds around 55-65 mph I can routinely get approximately 520 miles a tank. With aggressive driving subtract 100 miles/tank.
I love this A4.

Just picked up my preowned '09 with 7,600 miles yesterday in Phoenix. On the drive home to southern CA and a little running around once home (390 total miles) I averaged 30.23 mpg. Just filled it up and it took 12.9 gallons so I guess I had 4 gallons left in the tank. I'm really pleased with the mpg especially considering I averaged about 77 mph.

I can't say what the maximum range should be except that I usually fill up shortly after the "please refuel" warning comes on -- and put in about 14.5 gal. Hwy driving I easily get 30 mpg (6MT 2.0T) so you could multiply that out and get 435 mi.
My commute to work is about 6.5 miles -- then often drive to lunch maybe 1.5 mi each way. Mix in a few trips of 30 miles hwy driving -- you get the point -- most of my driving is short trips. So far (6+ months) I've gotten MPG ranging from 23 to 26, with average speeds (over the whole tank) of 20 to 26 MPH.
This is actually a bit worse than my B5 1.8T fronttrack. I expect this car will improve a bit with mileage, but EPA estimates would have predicted better than the B5. I really think I drive this car more aggressively though, it's more fun and quite a bit faster than the B5 -- so the 1-2 MPG drop is very much worth it
