Is this a good deal for a 2011 A4?
Hi everyone,
I'm new and need some advice! I'm working with a dealership to pick up a 2011 2.0 TFSI quattro Premium (tiptronic) in meteor gray. I'm going to be leasing for 48 months (16,000km/year allowance).
I've been quoted $640/month payment taxes included with zero down and $650 security deposit.
I was quoted the same price from a different dealer for a 2011 A4 Front Trak, so I already know that was a crappy deal.
Any advice? Do you think I could ask for more? I tried to get him to waive the security deposit but that failed. Help..
Thanks!

with that monthly payment and lease term, why not just purchase and finance? I bought a 2011 A4 premium quattro in July. I ordered it and negotiated the price to be dealer invoice. I put down $5,000 and got a 1% 5 year loan (from Pentagon Federal Credit Union) and the monthly payment is $560. I don't understand your math, your monthly payment will be $80 more per month to "rent the car".
Look into buying it, even if you don't put $5,000, your payment will be close to what you will be paying for the lease and after 5 years, you will own the car and you can trade it in on an new one!!!!

Contact a couple of dealerships over the internet and make them outbid each other. It took me 5 emails to do that, then 1/2 hour to do the order paperwork, a 8 1/2 week wait, a 1/2 hour to listen to the point-of-sale offerings and write them a check. No hassle whatsoever.
