Have there been any issues with the oil consumption and pistons of the 2013 A4 1.8T
I am considering buying the 2013 A4 1.8T TFSI. It has 1 year left on the maintenance plan and only 40 000km on the clock.
I hear that the TFSI engine has issues with oil consumption and Piston rings which at some point will require the cars engine to be rebuilt.
Do I buy the car? Do I take out an extended warantee? Is there any preventive measures? Are there no problems with the car?
I would like some insight so as to make an informed and educated decision on buying the car.
Please assist.
