Default iPhone problem????

However, I did inform them that I am having a slight problem with my iphone, and that I read online that it can be fixed through this MMI update.

So, I made an appointment with them to have this updated.

I'm currently on version P0110 and they tell me there is a release called something like 0140 which they will upgrade to for me.

My question now is, how do I know if there is a map update available for my car? If there is a map update available, I'd like to get that too. I asked my local dealership and they told me theyre released every 3 years, which I couldn't believe would be true...anyone know???

THANKS SO MUCH!

Hi, you mentioned in your posting that you had a small iPhone problem. Is that one where it does not load the phone book into the car anymore? Thks

This site has some updates available:

Navteq no longer sells these updates, so in theory you have to buy them through the dealer for an outlandish price of about $250.

Don't hold your breath. They have not had an undate for my 2011 A4 since I bought it in mid-2011. Once, they made an update for which I paid more than $200. However, it turned out not to have any updated maps and they refunded all my money. Still waiting for a map with a road I have been driving regularly since 2011.

Default Audi A4 2011

Hi
Newbie to all of this.
I'm having trouble connecting through Bluetooth and for some reason all my contacts don't show up anymore in my MMI. Ive deleted the phone from MMi, delete the MMi on my phone. Tried reconnecting but none of it seems to work. I was thinking an MMi update would help but the head mechanic said there was no changes to Bluetooth in the update and can't guarantee it will help. Moreover it would be about an hour of work.
Is there something else I can do? Or will the update help? Or is there a way I can have them do it for free?
Thanks for your help!

Anyone have any experience with maps from these guys? Are they reputable and do the maps work in our 2011 A4 with "non updatable" nav systems?

Steve, the B8 MMI is 3G, therefore requires activation of the maps via connection to the Audi servers. The DVD you've referenced is only good for 2G enabled systems and would be useless to you.
