How fast is the APR chip on the A4 2.0 ? Numbers?
Has anyone chipped their 2.0 engine with the APR chip?
How fast is it? Is the improvement noticeable? And how much did you spend on it ? In the APR website, it's about $500+.
I just bought an allroad with the 2.0 engine and 211 HP 258 Tq, and thinking about chipping it. Posted this on the A4 forum since not many 2013 AR owners yet.

I'd be interested as well.
I just picked up a 2014 A4 P+ 2.0TQMS and am once again looking at the APR chips.
I previously had a 1999.5 A4 1.8TQMS with an APR chip and it was a night and day difference. It really made the car and I hated the days I had to remove it and head to the dealer for service. Couldn't wait to get back home and put it in again. Back then I was lucky and found a used ECU pre-chipped so I could just swap them in and out. I am now more hesitant only for the fact that I don't have a spare ECU.

APR ECU flash for 2.0T says 265hp and 327 lb-ft torque, plus it lifts the limitation on top speed.

I've done this to 2 A4's and it's a great bang for the buck. Just be aware that Audi looks for these mods and can void warranty related work if they think the modification caused the damage.

If you switch the program back to 'stock', will they still know it's there?
Or do you have to buy another ECU chip to swap it physically?

Yes, switching to the stock mode doesn't make it undetectable. You can buy another ECU, but I'm not sure that will end up any cheaper than the Stasis tune altogether. Will be more hassle for sure.

^ +1. Stasis offers a slighlty better (and more expensive) tune, and their work is guaranteed with Audi. If Audi voids a warranty, Stasis will pick up the cost. Several Audi dealers are authorized to do Stasis work.

The Statis Touring Package cost $5,495.00 boosting it to 269HP (including exhaust and suspension upgrades), while the APR chip at $599 boost it to 265HP. Cost-wise, APR is about 900% cheaper.
In my area, the same dealer is authorized to installs both the APR and Statis upgrade.

You are comparing apples with oranges - a tune, warranty, springs, sway bar, wheels, and an exhaust with a tune without warranty.
I got the tune with the factory matching warranty for $1300.

Want to qualify 'better'?
No fuss with warranty issues from Audi/Stasis, and I even had pistons and rings replaced due to oil consumption. APR might be cheaper, but I'm so glad I did Stasis. That was at least $5k worth of work to do the pistons.
The fact that you can run multiple tunes with APR is probably its best quality. I would run low octane map on the street and high octane on the track
