I'm looking at buying an 09 A4 3.2 Prestige
I'm wondering what I should check and what are the common failure points on the car. It has 100,001 miles on it, it's from a dealer. It has the B&O system and push to start as well. Also what's the difference between A4s with the MMI panel under the screen and the ones with it behind the gear stick? And how will the cost of repairs compare to my 04 A8L? Thanks everyone!

Some things to look out for.
- Excessive oil consumption(could have been resolved already. Dealer can tell you)
- Turbo failure
- Water pump failure
- Timing chain tensioner
There are others but this is what I had to deal with on my 2010. Luckily the oil consumption was under warranty.
