Hey guys,
I have an 2013 a4, with nav. It came with the ability to hook up an ipod adpater cable in the glovebox, but the cord didn't come with it. I want to buy one from a 3rd party source, does anyone know one that will definitely work for me? Thanks

If you bought the car new, the AMI cable should have been supplied by your dealer at no charge. Otherwise, they cost about $70 from the parts dept.

Yup...if you bought the car new with NAVI option from the dealer,then they should have provided the iPod cable. if you are looking to hook up your stereo to iphone 5 and not the iPod , then ask for them to provide you the iphone 'Plus' cable. Speak up.... did you get the car new? If so, it's been said you get the AMI cord for free from the stealership. If used, get one online form a vendor here on AW.

The iPhone 5 will not pass video through the required AMI lightning adapter with the red grommet cable.
