I am driving 2009 Audi A4 quattro (premium plus) for more than an year now and never noticed jerking stops until recently. Audi Tech drove the car and didn't notice jerking stops until I told him to look at me when he stops. He did notice me falling forward and backward. We test drove couple of quattro's in the parking lot and noticed all jerk before coming to a full stop.

Anybody noticed this with quattro's ?

theres a software update for this.. an update to the transmission.. i had it done 2 weeks ago and havent noticed it since

Jerking stops? Are we talking about those downshifts the transmission makes that induces a bit of engine braking as one coasts to a stop? Or something else?

it's probably the tiptronic downshifting and you're experiencing the increased engine compression.
