Leasing question

Got a quote on a A4 Avant Premium Plus with Nav and advanced key.

Was quoted 58% residual value and .00132 money factor for a 36mo/10K lease with no money down.

Are the residual value and money factor reasonable? Seems like the residual value is pretty good but the money factor could be improved.

Any thoughts? How much can the dealership negotiate on these, versus other things like the purchase price, fees, etc.?

I dont think the dealer can alter those numbers at all, they are set by Audi Financial I believe. The price of the car is where you can work on negotiating.

There are leasing forums on Edmunds where the moderator will give you current numbers. I know the deals for Avants are not as good as sedans.

If you want an unbelievable deal look at the Caddy CTS wagon. GM is subsidizing $5,000 + a $2,000 conquest discount. Service included. I test drove 2 sedans. Hard to give up Audi though. Still thinking........ You can lease one super loaded with the big V6 for the price of a bare bones Avant.

thanks. So Audi Financial Services sets the money factor and residual, right?

Is under invoice for the purchase price / cap cost possible? I had one dealer offer me that just via email.

Maybe. The 2013 Allroads are coming in soon. It's the end of the 2012 Audi model year. Get the full deal including the drive off. Without the drive off your are subject to last minute bad surprises.
