2010 A4. I have noticed a new rattling sound coming from the rear drivers side. Sounded like something banging around in the trunk. So I put my ear to the rear floor of the trunk and could hear it. Sounds like metal banging against metal. I looked under the car and could not see anything obvious. It is very noisy and disturbing but disappears when I get up to speed. I can only hear it at idle or going below about 30 mph. Anyone have any ideas???

Check the exhaust system for problems with the hangers.

I assume you already checked the spare tire compartment?

There are some audio components located in the left side of the trunk you can access by removing the panel.
