I recently purchased a 2008 Audi A4 S-Line Titanium (6-speed manual). After growing up in a household where my father was an Audi fanatic I'm extremely happy to have finally purchased one.

An issue I keep running into is trying to determine if mine is a B7 or B8. From what I gather, the B8 started in 2008.5. Does anyone know if mine being the titanium edition can clarify if its B7 or B8?

I'd really like to know so I can start posting in the appropriate forum and also get the right parts.

It's a B7. Titanium pkg B8s just recently became available (ie '11 model year I believe).

The US B8's started with the 2009 Model year. There was no Titanium edition for '09. I'm relatively sure yours is a B7.

Pics would be an easy way to tell - the B7/B8 are quite different looking in many ways.

B7 has a horizontal protection (or design?) stripe along the sides, halfway up on the doors. B8 doors are not divided like that.
