Default Need Help! Who has an ENERTEC Battery?

Hello Guys,

It seems that Audi in Canada only has ENERTEC batteries in stock! the problem is I can't find the ENERTEC vendor code and I can't code it. It also doesn't have a BEM code.

If someone has an ENERTEC battery that is the original battery or was done by the dealer (coded properly). Can you please do a scan to see what your code is and post a picture of your QR bar code. Thank you!

This can be found here VCDS (screen 19-CAN@gateway _> Long Adaptation -> Channel 4 -> Battery identification)

The only thing i need is the middle code for battery Vendor. it is NOT EMC as the car won't accept that.

THANK YOU!

Enertec is part of Johnson Controls.

The QR code label is typical of JCI batteries. JCI also owns Varta automotive. Try the Varta code VA0 (V-A-Zero) and the serial number on the QR (10 digits)label. Good Luck.

The car will take ANY Vendor code I give it. I can give it a VA0 (Varta) or JCB (JCI/JCB)
If it's Johnson Control wouldn't it be JCB?

Decoding the QR Code I got
205# 000 915 105 DH #0803800 #588119201#27081134*205 EMC318R25U/*= 99{40@85m

Your part number is 13 digits 8K0915105DH. The QR shows 000 instead of 8K0 because the battery goes in other car lines of the VW group. You can use VA0 for Varta, or JCB for Johnson Controls International. The Serial is EMC318R25U (ten places.)

Your software might be hard coded to accept only certain known to Ross-Tech, where the workshop VAG system could have been updated to accept parts sold in Canada.

I'd give Ross-Tech a call if you are still having problems, and refer them to this thread.

What should I put in VCDS? it is an Enertec Battery
