Yes. In the US the MMI menu is not avail by default. Must be set by Vag-Com or dealer.

Default Not exactly sure...

I told the shop to crank the coils down till there was no fender gap. It was probably 1.5" or a little more.

Default ceramic is intended for high temp, a lot of sun exposure

It is superior in blocking out heat radiation over standard tint which mainly blocks out light radiation. Basically keeps the interior cooler longer when in direct sunlight than your normal tint, regardless of how dark. But expect to spend 2-3 times more. My Avant was $750 but with dealer supplier and know you can get it in the $500 range if you shop it. But if you live anywhere north of the 40th parallel it is probably not worth your expense. I'm in Phx Arizona so you can imagine the expense is justified...

thanks covrd. I can understand why you got the ceramic, Im in New York so maybe the ceramic is overkill for me. Can you recommend any tints with very good quality? I am looking to go about 35% around the car

Default many many options

You know there are a hell of a lot of tint film manufacturers but if you want a well know company with a good track record, 3M is great for the price. My local Audi dealer uses the film through a supplier and is actually the brand of the ceramic I have as well. You can't go wrong with 3M though there are many others if you check around. Ask the installer what brand they use and then check their product online. If it's some no name brand I would stay away as those will change color and fade over time. Watch out for those really inexpesive deals of under $150, usually cheapo stuff...

Default Oh, and the dealer should throw in the basic tint for free...

since that's all you really need.... They did for me (was $350 - Avant = more windows) but I insisted on ceramic and simply paid the difference.

Default That's total BS...

Whoever told you that is full of it. Whether 17's or even 20's, the rim may be bigger, but the overall diameter of the tires is the same. A 20" wheel with the correct size tire will not take up any more fender space than stock 17's. Regardless what size wheels, you can and should lower it.

thats good news. i really like the look of the car without the space in the wheel well. Is that expensive to lower it a bit? sorry for all the questions I am new to modding my car and just trying to get some insight. plus, your car is similiar to the look that i am going for on my car
