Default Power interruption 2.0 T Quattro

I have a 2013 A4 Q with only 24,000 miles. Duty cycle is light (80% highway).
Anyway, I have been getting what feels like a smooth power flow interruption at highway speed that almost feels like a momentary clutch (internal to 8 speed) disengagement.

I thought it could be some possible H2O in the fuel so I ran a can of dry gas thru but still get the stutter feel (almost like the front and rear diffs are not in sync).

Anyone out there heard of this before or lately?

I get no DTC so is it possible for the mechanical parts to have trouble without throwing a code? Seems unlikely as everything is computer controlled.

Update:

Had a reason to drive thru the Pennsylvania mountains last weekend and this problem is worse when going up even the slightest upgrade. It was so bad I had to drop the automatic into manual mode into 6th gear so it would not stutter. 7th and 8th gears were "slipping" (at least that's what it felt like) and I did not want to damage the transmission even further. Still no codes thrown. Took it to dealer a few days ago and they could not find anything wrong as there are no codes to read. They even ran the car on the highway with the diagnostic laptop hooked up and all values read as normal. I do not want to be buying an $8000 reman when this thing gets out of warranty.
