Hi,

My A4's power steering judders when manoeuvring at low speed (parking etc). I've found a Technical Service Bulletin (Audi Workshop Manuals > A4 Quattro Sedan L4-2.0L Turbo (CAEB) (2009) > Maintenance > Hoses > Power Steering Line/Hose > Component Information > Technical Service Bulletins > All Technical Service Bulletins for Power Steering Line/Hose: > 481007) that EXACTLY matches the problem but Audi don't want to know as it is for the CAEB not the CDNC model which my car is.

As far as I know the only difference between the model is that the CAEB is a saloon (sedan) and mine is the avant. Does anyone know if there a more fundamental difference between the two - mechanically?

Shouldn't the TSB apply to both?

I will be talking to my dealer re my 2010 CPO Q5 and wife's 2009 A4 3.2, they both do it. I'd be happy to try the hose swap myself if the dealer gives me the info. I'll post any info or diagrammes here. Any others who have info....dump it.


afaik, this is separate from the steering recommendation glitch that pushes the steering to and fro.
