I have a new to me 2011 Avant Prem+, nav. and have a couple of questions:
1) The seat heaters (sport seats) don't get very warm. It does not have the cold weather package. Is this normal? Are there different heaters with the cold weather package? Both my 99 and 05 seats get much, much, much warmer than these.
2) Phone pairing. My phone finds the Audi, but the Audi does not find the phone when attempting to link them. I reset everything to factory defaults, as described in some earlier threads, but the Audi still does not find the phone. The phone works with my 05 A8, with no problems. The phone is just a dumb LG model. Any ideas?

If think I did the pairing from my mobile using the instructions below (but maybe your model year works differently). What happens if you try to make the connection from the mobile?

From the handbook:
The mobile phone (1) must be bonded to the on-board phone system in the vehicle (only has to be done once). This procedure involves various steps, depending on the mobile phone you are using. After you switch on the ignition, you have 5 minutes to connect your mobile phone to the on-board phone system (while the vehicle is stationary).

Make sure that no other mobile phone is connected to the on-board phone system via Bluetooth.
Switch on the ignition and the MMI (if not already activated).
Select the appropriate menu option on your mobile phone to search for Bluetooth compatible devices (phone pre-installation).
Connect the mobile phone to the on-board phone system. Your on-board phone system will use the name "Audi UHV" when it connects with the mobile phone.
Enter the PIN for handsfree mode ("1234") on the on-board phone system within 30 seconds.
Wait until your mobile phone indicates that it has bonded. The Bluetooth symbol will appear on the MMI display.

Thanks! I got it to pair and download the contact list. I misunderstood when it was asking for the 1st PIN. I didn't realize I had to make one up. I thought it was asking for one produced by the car.
