Engine Oil? Maybe
I am also in the same boat. It's doesn't make sense but I switch from M1 0w40 to Castrol 5w40 engine oil which help so much with the cold start now. Just switch to this oil yesterday and can tell the different right away. no fuel in oil smell, no more rough start and all the fault code for fuel/air mixture related code.
