RS4 Alloys for B8 Sline Avant
I bought some RS4 alloys from Ebay (genuine). The wheels came of a 2010 A6, when I tried to put the wheels on my A4 B8 sline avant they didn't fit. I had the centre hub on the wheels (which was 57mm) CNC machined to fit my A4 hub which is 66.6mm. I have them on they look great however i get a vibration on the sterring wheel after 60mph. I have had the wheels balanced twice at 2 different tyre garages but it is still there, can anyone advise what this could be? I did put a new tyre on the front off side and the near side has 3mm left. Back tyres had equally 5mm of tread, all continental contact sport 3. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers Chris

Put the original wheels back on and see if there is a shudder. Some B8s have a control arm issue that i believe Audi put a TSB on.
If the shutter is still there you should talk to your dealer and see if you car has the control arm.
If its gone, you are probably SOL on a bad wheel or so.

A4DK,
I have a 10 Avant and heard about the control arm issue as well. I have 5k miles and no issues. Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't that control arm an 09 issue and supposedly corrected in 10?
I agree with checking Tire/wheels on a hiSpeed balance machine for an individual tire/wheel problem.
