2009 A4 Avant How can I reset or turn off the Service Now msg.

dealer or independent shop needs to reset it. some indy shops may do it for free, Audi will charge you. obviously make sure the recommended service has been completed.

Track down your local VCDS person and have them perform the "SRI Reset".

Never understood why Audi did this but I assume they wanted you to bring the car in for service by them so they can make more money. We just live with the light coming up every time it's started and as you know the message goes away after a few seconds. We have never had the car back to the dealer in 50,000 miles so if we do have to bring it in before we trade it we'll have them reset it. We expect to trade it mid next year where we'll hit 75,000 miles which is our turn in limit.
