Steering wheel feels weightier turning left than when turning right
I've noticed this before, but it's becoming a bit more prominent now. When I turn left, the steering wheel feels heavier than when I turn right. It almost seems like there's less power steering when I turn left.
I actually like the weightier feel of turning left, but it doesn't seem right when the steering wheel is unbalanced. Has anyone experienced this? And I did consider the shape of the road (crowned roadway) and even on sections where the road isn't crowned, turning left still feels weightier. |
Don't turn right?
(Sorry, I couldn't resist). I've never heard this one before. Take it to the dealer and ask them to check it out. Be prepared for "vehicle performs within factory specifications" though. |
must have checked tire pressures. right?

If you could figure out what's causing the higher weight/effort, duplicate it on both sides and post a DIY, you will be many an a4 owner's hero.
(I hope Audi is reading this.. Why does this excellent car with excellent front-end geometry/precision need so much assist? WHY?) |

Haha no way, but I've never seen anything like that.
And I'm left handed. :) |
