Default Too late to order a B8?

If I order a 2009 A4, it probably will not be delivered until sometime in May. Somebody mentioned that he would not take delivery of a B8 in April because it would depreciate quickly since you will be able to order a 2010 model a couple of months later.

Anybody know when we will be able to order 2010 models? At this point in the year, does it pay to wait?

When you ordered in June 08, when did you get it?

Default Money-wise? Not worth waiting.

You'll get a better deal with the closeout of a model year than on some of the first 2010's rolling out. The best deals typically happen around the holiday season through Spring.

Default The very first '09's were delivered last week of Aug, first week of Sept...

That will likely be the case for next year as well. Orders will be able to placed around late May but you'll still have to wait until they start delivering in the fall. Mine was ordered in May 08 and arrived end Aug.

Keep in mind, even though 1st year depreciation is accelerated if purchased late in a model year, you get the benefit of much lower mileage for the first year which can offset some of that down the road when ready to trade or sell.

Default If the configuration you want is not possible, and if you can wait, then wait and hope for

slight changes or more open options in 2nd MY. They won't change much, but they might have more option configurations available
