Why did you change your drive shafts. Is this a FWD or a quattro. Did the shafts lock into the transmission. Need a little more info.

My drive shaft has long being making noise but on the May day was a free day I had the time to change it. Eact time i make a turn either to the right or left, they make noise thats my reason for change. I wouldnt know the difference btw a FWD or Quattro but i am sure its not a turbo charged engine. Audi A4, 2.0 year 2002, also i have no experience if the shafts lock into the transmission. thats why i am here for help. thanks

I think you need to find out more information about your car. In 2002 they made a 1.6L N/A engine and a 1.8L turbo engine and a 3.0L V6 engine. They also introduced the CVT transmission and that was available in the front wheel drive version. The half shafts would be different for the different versions. Now back to your replacement it appears that the transmission worked with the exception of the noise. After you changed the shafts you got the problem. That tells me something wrong happened during the installation. I would check to see if the parts are correct for the car you have and then go back to see if everything is installed correctly.
