Default vacuum line for intake cleaning

Is there a recommended vac line to use for seafoam or BG intake/induction cleaner (without using the BG compressed air atomizer tool)?

No boroscope handy but figured even if only minimally, it might help keeping the carbon deposits in check.

Remove the engine cover, on the intake runner right above the intercooler intake hose you will see a sensor. Unscrew the sensor put your spray hose in there. I used an entire can of sea foam it smoke quite a bit. The engine felt better afterwards. Of course this is subjective experience, your mileage may vary. Do at your own risk, blah, blah.

I will post pictures the next time I do it, planning to do it again at next oil change.

On the subject of a Vacuum Line, would that cause my RPMs to flux from 1-2000rpm while in Natural and Park? When in drive it doesn’t seem to mind. It’s almost as if it cannot decide if there is enough air or something.

are you referring to rpm flux at startup? if so, it's normal if iirc...something about heating up the cat converter.

Took a look under the hood but didn't bother taking off the front plastic cover. Of the sensors I saw...are any of these the one you're referring to? I'm guessing it's not the MAF sensor, but stuck the pic in there just in case.

Terrific. Thanks. I guess it's now an issue of finding the right sized hose that will fit snugly. From what I could find, it seems that is the IAT sensor.
