Okay guys I'm new at this, just bought my first Audi, I bought it used it's an 09 A4 2.0t Quattro. I spilled some windex it the trunk a couple days ago and went to deep clean it today when I lifted the hatch to the spare tire I noticed an odd looking hard white tape, I bought this car USED so it's kind of bothering/worrying me. I called the dealership I got it from and of course they knew nothing about it. My own dumb fault I suppose. So if anyone could inform me more about this it would be much appreciated.

That is supposed to be there. It works as a sound deadener. It prevents the sheet metal from resonating.
