Default Yellow Speed Racing Coil-Overs

Does anyone know anything about "Yellow Speed Racing"

They are offering a coil-over system for the B8 A4 for $599 (sale price)

I wonder if anyone has tried these out.

I believe it's a company called ST which is basically the same as the KW V1's but uses a cheaper outer coating.

This is their website:

http://www.yellow-speed.com/dynamic-pro-sport.php

It doesn't seem to be related to any other from what I can see.

Your right. I saw an ad for ST coilovers but these are different. It's hard to go with a company you don't know when it comes to suspension or brakes, but the price looks good. Maybe you might have some look checking out audizine or some BMW or VW forums for some other reviews?

These are low end quality kits, identical to K-Sport and D2 coilovers. Basically all come out of the same factories in China. I've seen them personally, and installed some for people. I wouldn't recommend using them.

Agreed. I was just going to point out that it is a Taiwanese company offering what sounds/looks like a cheap imitation of Bilstein monotube technology. I wouldn't put that on my car if u gave it to me...

Thanks for the feedback guys. I currently have on H&R Sport Springs and I love the look but find the ride a bit too stiff and bouncy. I am looking into other options.

Does anyone know if I could install the S-line suspension directly in place of the standard (non-sport) suspension set-up.

Someone is offering to sell me their s-line set-up for $500.

I believe the S-line springs are only 20mm lower then stock (same as my sport package). H&R's are OK for the money, but you do get what you paid for. I've heard a few people get the H&R's and switch them out for the same reasons that you mentioned (not just from Audi users). One of the downers about doing springs only is your shocks are riding lower in the stroke and wear them out quicker. Having the Sport Package on my A4 currently, I've been very impressed by the ride and performance. For a daily driver, they offer a smooth but planted ride. They perform well on the track, but offer just a little too much body roll for my liking. Stasis offers a spring package that I believe is 30mm lower then stock (non S-line or sport package) ride height. Don't quote me on that though.

If your looking into coilovers, I'm yet to hear a negative review on the Bilstein PSS10's. I'm also looking into Koni. The tuner who installed my tune and exhaust swears by them and they're about $400-$500 cheaper then the Bilsteins. QUA77R0 probably has some good info, he seems to be a research fanatic like me LOL. We've been info sharing on coilovers and BBK's
