I've been looking into ordering an A4 with the manual transmission. Here is the current order guide. You'll notice the "Sport plus package - PST" is available with the manual.

Even though the wording is slightly different on the sport suspension versus the sport plus suspension, I'm assuming they are the same. Does anyone know for sure?

I'd like the extras with the sport plus package, but you can't get a heated steering wheel. I'm also on the fence about the alcantara interior. I'm assuming the S Line interior in the plus package are the sport seats with the added alcantara in the center sections.

When the summer performance tires are added, is the top speed limiter removed? Dealer wasn't sure.

You also must choose the Daytona Grey Pearl paint if you go with the sport plus package.

Decisions, decisions.... planning on ordering at end of December.

Yep, decisions decisions. I do wonder if the Sport+ pkg can be chosen on the S-Tronic version or is limited to the Manual? I like Alcantara seats and the ADS but can't get those in S-Tronic......

Everything I've seen and been told is the sport plus package is only available for the manual.

Went to dealer again. Salesman was given an internal use only link that showed pictures of the sport plus package and had a little more detail. Unfortunately, now it's saying this package requires the Technology package. I don't want that, so if it's true, I won't be getting the plus. It also described the sport package suspension as sway bar, damper, and spring changes. The Sport Plus package suspension includes the adaptive damping adjustable from cockpit. The photos showed the 12 way power seats with alcantara center sections and "S" badging. But the photo also said "Euro model shown". So still don't have 100% info on seats. Here is the closest photo of the seats I could find.

To answer your questions;

The sport adaptive suspension in the Sport plus package is not the same as the regular sport suspension. It has adaptive dampers which will allow you to control the firmness of the suspension. It will also get more firm than the regular sport suspension when in dynamic mode.

Your dealer can place an order for the sport plus package without technology package. It is not required, as shown on the order guide.

That sports plus package is a great package. I wish I'd waited now!

I wish they had that when I ordered. Ohh well, hoping my next Audi which I think maybe a S4 will have a bunch of new features.
