2017 A4 US -- still getting crazy good MPG
I've had this car now for a few years and it has 54,000 miles on it. Today driving to work over 18 miles I averaged 38.8 US MPG . That's crazy for a car with this kind of performance. I really love this vehicle. I came from a Lexus and I don't see how I'd ever go back.

Totally agree. I don’t have as many miles on mine that you do but mine gets great mileage too. Love it.

Wow... 74 MPH average speed driving to work?!? And here I get average speed about... 12-18km/h (i.e. 7.5-12MPH)... driving to work. Let's just say this car is not exactly fuel efficient at those speeds...

I just got my car a week ago and have been shocked how often the computer says I'm getting over 30 MPG. I'm going to calculate this tank by hand, but seeing as how I filled up Monday (now Friday) and I've yet to even use 1/4 tank on my 13 mile one-way commute, it may just be right.

My fuel consumption has never been more than 29ish or so until recently. I’m at 22k miles and replaced coil packs and spark plugs and now get about 32. I don’t baby the throttle either :) #keepitinboost

Wow. Why did the coil packs need replacing at just 22k miles?

I took a 250 mile trip one-way a few weeks back and I finished the trip at 36.9 mpg with an average speed of 78. The great mpg on this car is a surprise and just adds a bonus to the great all-around car this is.

While granted its largely a gradual downhill run, I can get a peak of 40 MPG over an extended period on a fairly long and straight section of the local turnpike. And the uphill version(opposite directly) still like 37 MPG. not too shabby.
