I'm paying for 100Mbps, I'm provisioned for 131Mbps (not guaranteed, but common with my provider), and I can get as much as 170Mbps for up to 10 seconds (an advertised feature). On big downloads with a source that has plenty of bandwidth, I regularly see ~21MBps for the first several seconds before the download settles down to ~15MBps for the duration.

Your burst capacity might be higher than your steady-state capacity, which would account for numbers higher than you would otherwise expect, at least temporarily.

Just in case someone else runs into this, Java 9 removed support for the Java web launch that Audi uses to allow you to download the map updates. They'll have to change their approach eventually, but for now if you install Java 1.8 or older you'll still be able to download map updates.

However I am using the latest version of Java at home and it worked ok. You just have to download first the java launch app to your desktop, or any other folder, then run it directly from there.

There is a difference between installing the latest update for the version of Java that you have and installing the latest version of Java. The latest update for Java 1.8 would work, but if you've installed Java 9 which is the newest version of Java which got released this Fall it won't work.
