Anyone have CarPlay working in the virtual cockpit on a 2018/2019 A4?

Cant happen.

I can set-up Audi directions on the VC, then connect CarPlay to display on the big MMI screen. Otherwise, I get the compass...

True but he wants Apple CarPlay in the VC which isn’t possible. By CarPlay, I assume he wants something like android auto on the VC (I assume Apple CarPlay is the same as android auto for android)?

Exactly, I’d like to be able to use Waze via CarPlay and have that presented in the virtual cockpit.

It's an Audi limitation. Audi integrates the CarPlay interface into the VC in the TTS because there is no secondary screen.

They could do the same in other models, but they haven't.

Would be great to have a settings option for Android Auto/CarPlay that allows you to enable it in either the VC or MMI screen.
