Evening all, has anyone tried VZE activation with the following instructions- with or without parameterization?

In the following the necessary codes to activate the traffic sign recognition, if a front camera as well as the MMI navigation (goes with MMI navigation and with MMI navigation plus MMI touch) is installed. As a first step, the camera must be parameterized, otherwise it can not be coded.

Coding requires VCP for the parameterization of the camera!

Stand 14.03.2017: The parameterization / Flash file of the camera is sometimes only available for index A (8W0907217A)

Stand 25.04.2017: The parameterization / Flash file of the camera is now also available for index B (8W0907217B)

Stand 26.06.2017: The parameterization / Flash file of the camera is now also available for index C (8W0907217C)

What does “paremeterization” of the camera mean?

Bumping an old thread, but wondering if anyone has further info on this? Has anyone been able to take a log from a car with this activated to understand how to do this with VCDS?

I just purchased VCP which is required to parameterize the front lane assist camera. I will be updating the thread with the results, once I get it working and also the specific steps I took as those listed in this thread didn't work for me on my 2018 A4 B9

Does anybody know if it's posible to parameterize with ODIS (ODIS - E)? And how?

I would really like this on my (similar) A5. I was thinking that since my car can already "super cruise" all the required hardware is here. Kinda strange they reserve it for the Prestige models.
I would not mind paying a bit for it since I don't have the tools or expertise with VCDS or OBDeleven .

I was hoping they would just add it to the new "Feature on Demand" in MIB3. Once I see the price, I can make a decision.

Traffic sign parameterization is not the same as ACC and 360 view.

1. I doubt it would be the similar. I would expect MIB-3 vehicles to be different than MIB-2/2.5 when it comes to coding/hacking.

2. I only vaguely know what that means, but I agree that our A5's already have all the hardware they need to do Traffic Sign Recognition. We just need some software.

Not sure if you have seen the new myAudi App v4, but there are hints that "Function on Demand" is finally coming online.

Right, I was under impression that if you have ACC (Active Crusie Control) and 360 camera view option in your car the cameras are already parametrized and you don't need to worry about that step.
